Ozan Diren's name stands out as the strongest candidate for the presidency at TÜSİAD. Diren, who has received the support of key figures in the association, is among the candidates alongside vice presidents Serpil Veral and Can Yücaoğlu. However, it is noted that Yücaoğlu's chances of becoming president are low due to his overseas duties. It is also being discussed that Veral and subsequently Perihan İnci could serve as president in future terms.
Erkut Yücaoğlu, one of the former presidents of TÜSİAD, had stated in a past remark that the association defends the truths of Turkey and therefore may sometimes fall out with governments. Yücaoğlu had said, "The TÜSİAD presidency is a hot seat. Speaking the truth should not offend anyone."
The new president will be determined at the General Assembly to be held on January 15, 2026. While Perihan İnci serves as a Board Member at İnci Holding, she is also known as the Chair of the Digital Turkey Roundtable at TÜSİAD.
