VBT Yazılım acquires 20 percent of Wodo Teknoloji for 2 million dollars
By acquiring 20 percent of Wodo Teknoloji, VBT Yazılım has made a strong entry into the blockchain and digital gaming sectors. The investment amount was announced as 2 million dollars.

One of Turkey's established software companies, VBT Yazılım, has invested 2 million US dollars in Wodo Teknoloji, acquiring a 20 percent stake in the company. Wodo Teknoloji stands out as the parent company of Wodo Gaming, which was developed by Turkish software developers Bekir Dağ and Serhat Tanrıkut and operates in the digital gaming sector with its blockchain-based infrastructure.
Wodo Gaming draws attention for having received authorization from the Capital Markets Board (SPK). While the platform offers various technological solutions for game developers and players, it has also managed to attract the interest of both local and international investment circles.
Using its own blockchain infrastructure, Wodo Gaming has developed an economic model based on a unique micro-payment system for mobile and desktop games and has continued to regularly add new games to its platform.
VBT NOTIFIES THE KAP
VBT Yazılım is the sole authorized distributor in the Turkish market for BMC Software, a manufacturer of Mainframe Software and Enterprise Platform Software with an annual revenue of 2.5 billion US dollars.
In its statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) regarding the acquisition of 20 percent of Wodo Teknoloji, VBT Yazılım (IS:VBTYZ) stated the following:
"As a result of the meeting held by our Company's Board of Directors;
An investment of 35 million TL has been made by our company into the Neo Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş. VBT Yazılım Venture Capital Investment Fund for the purpose of supporting and developing start-up ventures.
In accordance with the decision to invest in Wodo Teknoloji A.Ş., for which a preliminary agreement was made with the Special Case Disclosure titled 'Regarding Cooperation Negotiations with Wodo Teknoloji A.Ş.' dated 27.09.2023; an agreement has been reached to invest 2,000,000 USD in exchange for a 20 percent stake in Wodo Teknoloji A.Ş., and the share transfer transactions were carried out on 25.04.2025.
Regarding the transaction in question, Osman Çaylı has been authorized to represent our company with individual signatory authority."
This investment is expected to make a significant contribution to VBT Yazılım's goals of creating new business areas in the fields of digital gaming and blockchain technologies in line with its growth strategies.
