YongJin Alex Kim appointed as new CEO of Hyundai Motor Turkey

Hyundai Motor Turkey has appointed YongJin Alex Kim as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Sangsu Kim, who has served as CEO since 2021, will continue his career in South Korea, while Kim brings a track record of significant success from his roles at Hyundai Motor Slovakia and Czech Republic.

YongJin Alex Kim has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Hyundai Motor Turkey. According to the company's statement, Sangsu Kim, who has served as CEO of Hyundai Motor Turkey since 2021, will continue his new role in South Korea.

A graduate of the Mechanical Engineering Department at Hanyang University in South Korea, YongJin Alex Kim has previously served as CEO of Hyundai Motor Slovakia and Hyundai Motor Czech Republic. Appointed as Vice President of Business Strategy for Hyundai Motor Europe in 2020, Kim most recently served as Vice President of Global Sales at Hyundai Motor Company.

Having held various positions within the Hyundai brand for 30 years and achieving significant success, Kim will continue his Hyundai journey as CEO of Hyundai Motor Turkey.

Having produced more than three million vehicles since 1997, Hyundai Motor Turkey has established an important place in the automotive sector while leading efforts to increase employment, support exports, and contribute to the national economy.
