“Sinners” has broken a record in Oscar history by securing 16 nominations. Directed by Ryan Coogler, the film was included in almost all major categories, including Best Picture, surpassing productions that previously shared the record with 14 nominations.

Michael B. Jordan was nominated for Best Actor for his performance in the film.

While “One Battle After Another” took second place with 13 nominations, other productions found their place on the list with 8 to 9 nominations each.
