31st Izmir European Jazz Festival to kick off with works of Ella Fitzgerald
The 31st Izmir European Jazz Festival will begin on March 7 with a concert featuring interpretations of works by Ella Fitzgerald.

According to a statement from the Izmir Foundation for Culture, Arts and Education (İKSEV), the festival's opening concert will feature Ayşegül Yeşilnil performing works by Ella Fitzgerald, one of the most important American jazz vocalists of the 20th century.
The concert, which will take place on Thursday, March 7, at 8:30 PM at the Ahmed Adnan Saygun Arts Center, will feature Zafer Çebi on piano, Nezih Yeşilnil on bass, Erdoğan Turanlı on saxophone, and Ferruh Arıç on drums.
EVENTS TO CONTINUE UNTIL MARCH 20
Organized in collaboration with the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, the Consulate of Italy in Izmir, the Institut Français Türkiye-Izmir, the Honorary Consulate of Switzerland in Izmir, the Goethe-Institut Izmir, and the Consulate General and Honorary Consulate of Slovakia in Istanbul, the festival will continue with concerts and events until March 20.
