Absentee funeral prayers held for those who lost their lives in Palestine

In Istanbul's mosques, a sela (call to prayer) was recited, absentee funeral prayers were held, and prayers were offered for the Palestinians who lost their lives in Israel's attacks.
In accordance with the announcement by the Presidency of Religious Affairs, a sela was recited in all mosques across the city before the noon call to prayer for those who lost their lives in Israel's attacks on Palestine.
In the announcement made following the sela, it was stated that "the Quran would be recited and prayers would be offered in all mosques in memory of those who were martyred in Palestine, and that absentee funeral prayers would be held after the noon prayer."
Citizens wishing to participate in the prayer came to mosques across the city, primarily the Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, the Blue Mosque, Fatih Mosque, Taksim Mosque, and Grand Çamlıca Mosque.
Before the noon prayer, the Quran was recited and prayers were offered for the souls of the Palestinians who lost their lives in the Israeli attacks. After the noon prayer, rows were formed for the absentee funeral prayer.
Foreign tourists also participated in the absentee funeral prayers held at the Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque and the Blue Mosque.
Some citizens who attended the prayer expressed their reaction to Israel's attack on the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza.
