The singer explained that she experienced pain she described as "worse than childbirth" during her stay in Munich for her concert series in August.
Adele described her health issue during her stage performance at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, saying, "I have an ear infection and it's very scary. I've never had anything like it before. It was the most painful thing that's ever happened to me. It was worse than childbirth."

The singer continued her words as follows:
"It's a rare water bacteria. It's very hard to treat. I was on the wrong antibiotics for a few days. They managed to give me one that started working. I wanted to cut my ear off a few times. I'm not in pain anymore, which is great, but I'm a bit deaf in my left ear."
