Painter Ahmet Yeşil, who has held numerous exhibitions both domestically and internationally and participated in group shows, is preparing to present his latest series, "Traces," to art enthusiasts.

Like his other works, "Traces" features multi-layered and polyphonic pieces.

'IT REFLECTS ONTO THE CANVAS WITH THE RHYTHM OF THE BRUSH IN HARMONY'

Commenting on his exhibition, Yeşil stated, "In fact, an artist does not set out to transfer the traces of their emotions while creating their works. All these emotional memories, experiences, longings, passions, excitements, thoughts, pains, and joys that they have melted in the crucible of emotion reflect onto the canvas with the rhythm of the brush in harmony during the formation process of the painting.

When the painting is finished, this rhythmic harmony leads the artist to ask themselves brand-new questions as well. The artist, just as much as the viewer, seeks answers to dozens of questions in front of the painting. The painting is now a sea of emotion.

The traces have turned into images. Now, the viewer begins to see their own truth and their own emotional storms among these images. The artist, in the background, watches both their own painting and those who examine it," he said.

The 'Traces' exhibition can be visited at Brieflyart between December 14, 2023, and January 14, 2024, from 11:00 to 18:00 on Tuesdays through Saturdays, and from 13:00 to 18:00 on Sundays.
