Produced by Zorlu PSM, Toy İstanbul, and Melisa Sözen, and adapted by Nermin Yıldırım from the novella of the same name in her short story collection Bavula Sığmayan, Aile Yalanları continues to meet theater enthusiasts.

Starring Melisa Sözen, Ülkü Duru, and Müfit Kayacan, and directed by Hakan Emre Ünal, "Aile Yalanları," a play that tells the story of a small family tragedy from the perspectives of all three protagonists, is preparing to meet its audience at the Zorlu PSM Turkcell Platinum Stage with its first-ever matinee and evening performances on February 28 and 29.

WHAT IS THE PLOT OF AİLE YALANLARI?

Belgin receives an unexpected phone call from her mother in the middle of the night: "Your father is cheating on me." The young woman rushes to her hometown, where she falls into a three-person family puzzle.

It is the bittersweet yet cheerful story of Belgin, who tries to find her own way within the family trap; Kamuran, who seeks the possibility of a new life in the autumn of his years; and Müzeyyen, who fails to make anyone, including herself, happy despite wanting everyone to be happy. It is a true family story, told through what is said, but even more so through what remains unsaid.

So, what happens now? Can we both be ourselves and love each other?
