The publications produced within the scope of the Turkish Harp Project and the methodology behind them constitute a viable model for introducing the aesthetic and musical characteristics of the Turkish Music tradition to the world and for embracing this cultural heritage.
The historical background of the project features the 'çeng', a type of harp dating back to the 11th century.
In this respect, the Turkish Harp Project aims to reclaim a value that has been lost from our musical tradition and to keep the memory of the çeng alive by conveying performed works to the world through the harp.
