Artist Volkan Konak has passed away
The Ministry of Health of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) announced that singer Volkan Konak, who fell ill on stage during a concert in the city of İskele, has passed away despite all interventions.

Famous artist Volkan Konak, who was performing a concert in Northern Cyprus, suddenly fell ill on stage and fainted. Konak, who received initial medical attention at the concert venue, was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
The master artist could not be saved despite all interventions and has passed away.
The Ministry issued a written statement regarding Konak, who was taken to the hospital after falling ill during his concert in the TRNC.
The statement noted the following:
"Artist Volkan Konak, who was admitted to Gazimağusa State Hospital at 00:17 due to a sudden illness tonight, unfortunately passed away at 00:42 despite all interventions. A detailed statement will be made in writing by the Chief Physician's Office of Gazimağusa State Hospital."
