Ata Demirer appeared before the audience with "Ata Demirer Gazinosu" at the Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theatre on August 4-5, organized by BKM. In the show, for which tickets were sold out on both nights, Demirer brought the comedy casino format to the stage with music and storytelling.
Demirer, who has also been mentioned in recent times due to criticisms regarding his silence on the political agenda, shifted the focus to his stage performance during his program at Harbiye. Laughter and music met in the same flow during the show, which was followed by thousands of spectators.
Demirer remained on stage for approximately three hours during the nights accompanied by an orchestra led by Taşkın Sabah. He offered the audience a nostalgic and entertaining musical journey with a repertoire ranging from Turkish art music to opera, folk songs to pop music, and tavern music to arabesque.
During the show, songs such as "Yine Saçlarda Aklar", "Satmışım Anasını", "Gündüzüm Seninle", "Sıkı Sıkı Baba", "Caruso – Dedikodu", "Beyaz Zambaklar", and "Elveda Meyhaneci" were performed. Demirer received intense applause from the audience for the humorous stories he told between songs.
Following the two-night series at Harbiye, the new stops for "Ata Demirer Gazinosu" have also been announced. Demirer will take the stage at the Bursa Kültürpark Open-Air Theatre on August 12 and at the İzmir Kültürpark Open-Air Theatre on August 14.
