Atatürk film enters the list of the 100 most-watched films of all time in Turkey

According to Box Office reports, Atatürk 1881 - 1919 (Part 1), starring Aras Bulut İynemli, has entered the list of the 100 most-watched films of all time in Turkey.

Directed by Mehmet Ada Öztekin and starring Aras Bulut İynemli, "Atatürk 1881 - 1919 (Part 1)" reached a total of 1 million 577 thousand 924 viewers, entering the list of the 100 most-watched films of all time. It was noted that the film is the third production to make it onto this list in 2023.

The film, which opened with 269 thousand 113 viewers, was watched by 470 thousand 528 people in its first week. Despite a 25% reduction in the number of theaters during the second weekend, the film increased its box office revenue by 4% and reached 1 million viewers by the end of its second week. Surpassing the 1.5 million mark in its fifth week, the film entered the list of the 100 most-watched films of all time by the end of its sixth week in theaters.

The sequel to "Atatürk 1881 - 1919 (Part 1)," titled "Atatürk 1881 - 1919 (Part 2)," will meet audiences on January 5, 2024.
