“Bir Arada Yalnız” Wins Best Film at the 33rd International Adana Golden Boll Film Festival
The Best Film Award at the festival held in Adana went to “Bir Arada Yalnız” by Ali Vatansever; acting awards were also announced.

Awards were presented at the 33rd International Adana Golden Boll Film Festival. Hosted by the Adana Metropolitan Municipality and held between September 26 and October 4, 2026, the festival awarded the Best Film prize in the National Feature Film Competition to “Bir Arada Yalnız,” directed by Ali Vatansever.
The festival program featured 210 films from 154 directors across 23 countries. Ten productions competed in the National Feature Film Competition, with Zuhal Olcay serving as the head of the main jury. The jury also included Şebnem Bozoklu, Salih Bademci, Erdem Tepegöz, Nilgün Öneş, Gökhan Tiryaki, and Ayça Çiftçi.
On the night, “Bir Arada Yalnız” stood out not only for Best Film but also in the Best Director and acting categories. While Ali Vatansever received the Best Director Award, Fatih Al, who starred in the film, was named Best Actor. Onur Gözeten was deemed worthy of the Promising Actor Award for his performance in the same film.
The Best Actress Award was given to Hazar Ergüçlü for her performance in the film “Mutter: Bir Annenin Hatıra Defteri.” The film also won awards in the editing, art direction, and cinematography categories.

At the festival, the Kadir Beycioğlu Jury Special Award was given to Miraç Atabey for “Moda Evlilik,” and the Yılmaz Güney Special Award was presented to Banu Sıvacı for “Günyüzü.” The film “Günyüzü” stood out in the supporting acting categories, with Süleyman Kadim Kabaali selected as Best Supporting Actor and Asena Hotamış as Best Supporting Actress.
