Cengiz Bozkurt suffers ruptured Achilles tendon on stage
Famous actor Cengiz Bozkurt underwent surgery following an injury he sustained on stage during the Don Quixote Musical performance in Ankara.

Actor Cengiz Bozkurt, who was performing in the Ankara leg of the Don Quixote Musical tour, had an unfortunate accident. As a result of an injury sustained during his stage performance, Bozkurt’s Achilles tendon ruptured.
The actor shared the incident with his followers on the social media platform X. In his statement, Bozkurt said:
“During our Ankara tour, unfortunately, my Achilles tendon ruptured on stage towards the end of the first act. I underwent surgery as soon as I returned to Istanbul, and I am doing very well. I would like to thank everyone for their get-well messages and the wonderful Ankara audience for their great understanding regarding this situation.”
Stating that his health is good following the surgery, Bozkurt also expressed his gratitude to those who sent get-well messages and to the audience for their support.
