Famous actress Arzum Onan returns to the big screen after 16 years!

Arzum Onan is returning to acting after a 16-year break with the film titled "Bi Umut" (A Hope). The film, which has begun shooting in Antalya, is inspired by a true life story and will be presented to audiences. In the film, Onan portrays the character 'Fatma,' who symbolizes female solidarity.

The film tells the poignant story of Gülsüm Kabadayı. Kabadayı changed the life of a paralyzed Russian youth she encountered at a hospital by acting as a mother to him for 10 years. In this moving story, the role of Gülsüm Kabadayı is played by Hülya Duyar.

Arzum Onan conveys the power of friendship and solidarity to the audience through the character of Fatma, one of Gülsüm Kabadayı's closest friends in the film. The film emphasizes how Fatma supported Gülsüm Kabadayı during her most difficult times and highlights the importance of female solidarity.

At the heart of the film is Gülsüm Kabadayı's decision to take care of the paralyzed youth, whom doctors said would "live for at most three months," by saying "There is hope, doctor," and her success in keeping him alive for 10 years. The character of Umut is played by Russian actor Leon Kemstach.
