Films releasing on May 31, 2024, have been announced
Ten films, including 5 domestic productions, will be released in cinemas across Turkey this week. Karanlıktan Kaçış, Turbo, Geçiş, and Late Night with the Devil are among the notable productions.

KARANLIKTAN KAÇIŞ
'Karanlıktan Kaçış', starring Tuvana Türkay, Serhat Teoman, Saygın Soysal, Burak Sarımola, Asuman Dabak, Sefa Zengin, Ufuk Kaplan, Melih Özkaya, and İpek Arkan, will meet the audience.
Directed by Tolga Toga, the film tells the story of a successful journalist who, after falling into a deep depression following a major betrayal, moves to a quiet forest house to escape the chaos of the city, only to have his plans turned upside down by a young woman he meets as a result of an unexpected accident.
TURBO

THE HOPE
Directed by Servet Aksoy and starring Mehmet Ali Erbil, Alix Kermes, Gizem Denizci, Şebnem Schäfer, Wilma Elles, Orçun İynemli, and Esra Sönmezer, 'The Hope' deals with the life of a writer diagnosed with Alzheimer's.
GEÇİŞ
Directed by Levan Akin, the co-production of Turkey, Denmark, France, Georgia, and Sweden, 'Crossing' (Geçiş), will bring a drama story to the big screen.
Starring Mzia Arabuli, Lucas Kankava, and Deniz Dumanlı, the film focuses on the life of a retired teacher who makes a promise to herself to find her long-lost niece.
GARFIELD
Adapted by cartoonist Jim Davis in 1978, with stories spanning from comic strips to television, the animated film 'Garfield' will bring to the big screen the adventures of the cat Garfield, who crosses paths again with his long-lost father, Vic, and his friend Ollie.
Directed by Mark Dindal, the Turkish voice-overs for the film were provided by Engin Alkan and Harun Can.
LATE NIGHT WITH THE DEVIL
Written and directed by Cameron and Colin Cairnes, and starring David Dastmalchian, Laura Gordon, and Ian Bliss, 'Late Night with the Devil' (Şeytanla Bir Gece) focuses on the events that took place on a talk show on Halloween in 1977.
KARA AYİN
The US-produced film 'Kara Ayin' (Black Mass), directed by Thomas Marchese, focuses on the story of a mother who risks everything to find her son.
EXHUMA
Directed by Jae-hyun Jang and starring Kim Go-eun, Lee Do-Hyun, and Choi Min-sik, the South Korean film 'Exhuma' revolves around the events that unfold after a wealthy family, surrounded by paranormal incidents, seeks help from a young shaman duo, Hwa Rim and Bong Gil, to save their children.
BAB-I CİN
Directed by Yannie Sukarya, the Indonesian production 'Bab-ı Cin' tells the story of a young woman possessed by a demon.
MENDEBUR
Starring names such as Aslı Bekiroğlu, Ahmet Kayakesen, Cem Özer, Selahattin Taşdöğen, Şevki Özcan, Hakan Eksen, and Tuncay Gençkalan, 'Mendebur' will take its place on the big screen as this week's domestic horror film.
