On Friday, May 23, films hitting theaters across a wide spectrum—from action to horror, science fiction to drama—will open the doors to brand-new worlds for viewers.

GECENİN GÜNDÜZÜ

Written and directed by Atakan Şatıroğlu, Gecenin Gündüzü focuses on the experiences of a woman who is bullied. Gündüz, a young woman, is one of the most beloved members of her close-knit group of nine friends. However, she becomes the target of a ruthless cyberbullying campaign by social media influencers within her circle. The bullying she is subjected to drives Gündüz to attempt suicide. Although Gündüz manages to return from the brink of death, she remains paralyzed. Unable to accept what happened to Gündüz, Poyraz takes action to hold those responsible for the events accountable.

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE

The new film in the beloved Mission: Impossible series, starring Tom Cruise, Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning, follows the story of Agent Hunt and his team as they face a massive threat.

Ethan Hunt and his team from the legendary Impossible Mission Force are up against a highly powerful and world-threatening artificial intelligence known only as the "Entity." The team must find a Russian submarine called "Sevastopol," which plays a key role in this escalating conflict. However, Hunt and his team are, of course, not alone in this pursuit...

KABALA

Written and directed by Fatih Gülaydın, one of the week's horror films, Kabala, tells the story of Elif, who struggles to face her family's mysterious past and protect her unborn child. Wanting to uncover the truth about her father's mysterious death, Elif returns to the family home she left years ago.

From the moment she arrives at the house, Elif begins to experience strange and terrifying events, and she soon learns that this situation is linked to a secret hidden deep within the house: the dark world of a cult called Kabala, filled with jinn and occult rituals.

LILO & STITCH

One of the week's family films, Lilo & Stitch, tells the story of a lonely Hawaiian girl who befriends a fugitive alien who helps mend her broken family. Six-year-old Lilo Pelekai is a girl living in Hawaii with her 18-year-old sister, Nani.

Having lost their parents at an early age, the sisters try to cope with their loneliness. However, their lives take a completely different turn when their paths cross with Stitch, a fugitive alien. STELIOS – BEKLEDİM DE GELMEDİN

One of the week's drama films, Stelios - Bekledim de Gelmedin, tells the story of the legendary Greek singer Stelios Kazantzidis, a Pontic refugee child who overcame hardships through his talent and resilience. Stelios Kazantzidis's life takes a completely different turn when he discovers his extraordinary talent for music during a difficult period.

Striving to make a name for himself in the Greek music world with his talent and endurance, Stelios also has to face the difficulties of his relationships, his inner longings, and the expectations of his loyal fan base.

SPIDER-MAN 3

Spider-Man 3, the third film in the legendary Spider-Man series, is returning to theaters. In the third film of the series, Peter Parker struggles while living his private life on one hand and his Spider-Man identity on the other.
