The series, signed by TIMS&B Productions, brings to the screen the contradictions urban women experience between modern life and traditional values with a sincere and humorous tone.
Coming from a traditional family and trying to stand on her own two feet in Istanbul, 35-year-old Pınar works as an assistant brand manager at a food company.
While Pınar, who appears strong and determined on the outside, tries to figure out love and her own identity in her inner world, she is also eagerly awaiting the promotion she deserves, even blowing out the candles on her birthday cake with the wish, "May the promotion and love I've been waiting for finally come."
"Modern Kadın" tells the story of the conflicts women face between modern life and traditional values, the dilemmas they encounter in the home-work-love triangle, and their efforts to establish themselves with a realistic approach.
The project design for the series, which tells every story about women in a sometimes melancholic but mostly entertaining language, belongs to İrem Sak and Murat Kepez.
In "Modern Kadın," directed by Ayberk Sak and M. Emre Kaman, İrem Sak is accompanied by Hakan Salınmış, Durul Bazan, Özlem Toksalan, Su Sanad, Gözde Kaya, Tuğçe Karabayır, and Kemal Okan Özkan. Additionally, Özgür Çevik, Kubilay Aka, Hatice Aslan, and Hasibe Aygül Özgür add color to the project as guest actors.
