Gazapizm responds to Gülse Birsel's criticism of arabesk rap: 'We were sure she would view it with this shallowness'

Anıl Murat Acar, known by his stage name Gazapizm, has responded to Gülse Birsel, who criticized singers performing arabesk rap. Addressing Birsel, who said, 'You cannot have this many health problems,' the rapper stated, 'We were already sure that she would view all of this with such shallowness.'

Screenwriter and actress Gülse Birsel, who was a guest on the program hosted by Candaş Tolga Işık, criticized singers who perform arabesk rap.

Pointing to rapper Ezhel, Gülse Birsel said, "I was listening to them too, but some themes stick in one's ears. They are very talented kids. I have great respect and love for all of them, but do we have to complain this much in life? How bad can your life really be? By the way, your life might be very bad. There might be unemployment, there might be a lack of money... You cannot complain this much about your health problems. You are strong, healthy young men. You cannot constantly talk about aches and pains. Look, the problem is with you."

'GO TO A DOCTOR...'

Continuing her criticism by saying, "My throat is dry, my legs ache, there is a pain in my head... I think they are doing something wrong regarding their health. They are always very cold. I get cold easily, but they get colder than me. They complain that Istanbul is very cold; Istanbul is not cold. This is not Oslo, this is not Moscow. This is a temperate, warm country. Go to a doctor and check what vitamin deficiency you have. There is constant complaining about cities being cold; well, move, my dear. There are many complaints. There are so many health problems...", Birsel received a response from rapper Anıl Murat Acar, known as Gazapizm.

'NOT A SURPRISING STATEMENT'

Sharing a quote of Birsel's statement on his social media account, Gazapizm said, "Your bourgeois dreams remain in the wake of lies. By the way, there is nothing in this video by Ms. Gülse that surprises me. We were already sure that she would view all of this with such shallowness. Best of luck with her new book."
