When Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Büyükerşen visited the famous Madame Tussauds Museum in England, he was dissatisfied with the Atatürk statue displayed there and decided to create his own wax figure. The works he produced during this process were exhibited at the Yılmaz Büyükerşen Wax Museum in Eskişehir, welcoming thousands of visitors each year. His latest work has received great acclaim.

Büyükerşen created the wax figure of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, inspired by a photograph taken of him sipping coffee in a wicker chair at the 'Koliba' (log cabin), which Atatürk had built with his own money at the Atatürk Forest Farm in 1926. This impressive statue has been gifted to the Atatürk and War of Independence Museum at Anıtkabir.
