To meet audiences at the Istanbul Film Festival: 'Hayallerim, Aşkım ve Sen' has been restored
The Istanbul Film Festival will present the restored copy of the 1987 film 'Hayallerim, Aşkım ve Sen' (My Dreams, My Love and You), directed by Atıf Yılmaz from a screenplay by Ümit Ünal and starring Türkan Şoray and Oğuz Tunç, which has been restored by Atlas Post Production.

'Hayallerim, Aşkım ve Sen' explores the Yeşilçam system and environment in parallel with the story of a naive screenwriter's love for a famous star.
Film historian Agâh Özgüç interprets the film as one that “questions traditional Yeşilçam cinema through the eyes of a young and idealistic screenwriter” and where “cinema looks at itself.”
Featuring performances by Türkan Şoray, who portrays her own image in Yeşilçam through three separate personalities, and Oğuz Tunç, who plays a cinema enthusiast living with disappointment, 'Hayallerim, Aşkım ve Sen' is adorned with surreal elements and captures the magic of a fading era of cinema with a fragility and sensitivity unique to Atıf Yılmaz.
'Hayallerim, Aşkım ve Sen' will meet audiences at the 43rd Istanbul Film Festival, which will take place from April 17 to 28.
