Bob Marley’s biographical film is preceded by an album released in his memory under the Island Records/Tuff Gong label.
The new EP features versions of 7 significant songs by the legendary reggae artist, reinterpreted by famous names such as Daniel Caesar, Kacey Musgraves, Wizkid, Leon Bridges, Jessie Reyez, Bloody Civilian, and Bob Marley’s grandson Skip Marley.

In this context, the relationship between Island Records, Jamaica, and the Marley family, which also supports the film's subject matter, is highlighted.
