Honorary Award recipients announced for the Golden Orange Film Festival

The artists who will receive honorary awards at the 61st Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival have been announced.

According to the statement made by the Metropolitan Municipality, the honorary awards at the 61st Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, which will be held from October 5 to 12, will be presented to Işıl Yücesoy, Şerif Sezer, Erdal Özyağcılar, Müjdat Gezen, and Selçuk Yöntem.

The Honorary Awards of the International Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival will be presented to their recipients at the festival's opening ceremony on October 5.

JURY PRESIDENT FERZAN ÖZPETEK

The jury for the festival, which will be hosted by the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality from October 5 to 12, will be chaired by Ferzan Özpetek, a director, screenwriter, and author known for his films and books, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award in Antalya in 2018.

JURY MEMBERS

The 12 selected films will be evaluated by the main jury, chaired by Ferzan Özpetek, which includes art director Deniz Göktürk Kobanbay, actress Gökçe Bahadır, actor İlker Kaleli, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Melis Behlil, Melisa Önel, and Mercan Dede.

COMPETING FILMS

The films competing in the festival are "Acı Kahve" directed by Soner Sert, "Ayşe" directed by Necmi Sancak, "Balinanın Bilgisi" directed by Önder Şengül, "Evcilik" directed by Ümit Ünal, "Fidan" directed by Ayçıl Yeltan, "Galata" directed by Kenan Mansur Doğru and Umut Osman Demirkol, "Gülizar" directed by Belkıs Bayrak, "Hatırladığım Ağaçlar" directed by Erhan Tuncer, "Mukadderat" directed by Nadim Güç, "Savrulan Zaman" directed by Selim Evci, "Seni Bıraktığım Yerdeyim" directed by Ümran Safter, and "Sevgili Katilim Berlin" directed by Neco Çelik.

A total of 5 million Turkish Lira in prize money will be awarded at this year's festival, and the awards will be presented at the closing ceremony on October 12.
