Honorary award to be presented to Haluk Bilginer

The Honorary Award, one of the festival's most prestigious honors, will be presented to Haluk Bilginer, who is recognized for his theater-based artistic approach and international success.

According to the announcement from the festival organization, Bilginer's artistic stance and disciplined acting paved the way for him to receive this award. The experienced actor will receive the Honorary Award at the opening night to be held at the Tafelhalle in Nuremberg on February 27.

The fact that Haluk Bilginer will be attending the festival for the third time to receive the award in person adds a special significance to the event. Festival director Adil Kaya stated the following regarding the matter: "The Turkey-Germany Film Festival aims to bring people and cultures together across borders.
