PLOT OF THE FILM İKİ GÖZÜM AHMET: SÜRGÜN

İki Gözüm Ahmet: Sürgün covers the life and social struggle of Ahmet Kaya, who was born in Malatya on October 28, 1957, and passed away in Paris on November 16, 2000, during his short 43-year life.

Ahmet Kaya, who began his musical journey with a saz bought by his father when he was a child, became one of the country's most famous artists after years of struggle. After working various jobs in his youth, Ahmet Kaya, who produced an album with the help of his friends, finds himself in courthouse corridors due to the songs he sang.

Kaya, who demonstrated his humanist stance through his leftist struggle and support for women during pro-headscarf protests, was declared a terrorist in his country and continued his fight for brotherhood in Paris, where he went out of necessity.
