Selman Nacar's latest film, 'Hesitation Wound', which had its world premiere at the 80th Venice Film Festival, will be released on May 3 under the Başka Sinema banner. The film will have its Turkey premiere on April 27 at the 43rd Istanbul Film Festival.

Selman Nacar’s second feature film, which he wrote and directed, ‘Hesitation Wound’, will be screened in the 'National Competition' section of the 43rd Istanbul Film Festival before its theatrical release on May 3.
The film's Turkey premiere, which will take place as part of the festival, will be held on Saturday, April 27, at 21:30 at the Atlas 1948 Cinema.
PREMIERED IN NEW YORK
Having returned with awards from the Zurich, Free Zone, Cinemed Montpellier, and Aras film festivals, ‘Hesitation Wound’ held its New York premiere at the New Directors/New Films Festival at the beginning of April.
The film tells the story of Lawyer Canan, who is forced to confront her own conscience on the day of the verdict hearing for a murder suspect she believes is innocent and whom she has been representing for a long time.
The film's cast includes Tülin Özen, Oğulcan Arman Uslu, Gülçin Kültür Şahin, Vedat Erincin, and Erdem Şenocak.
The world rights for the film ‘Hesitation Wound’ are held by Magnolia Pictures International, which also represents films such as the Oscar-nominated ‘The Delinquents’, ‘Veni Vidi Vici’, and ‘Kokomo City’ in the international film category.
