The “Jazz & Picnic in the Forest” festival, held at Istanbul’s nature-integrated event venue LifePark, is opening its doors today.

The event’s stage features prominent names in Turkish jazz music.

The program began with the energetic Latin rhythms of the Cuban-origin Leyanner Chibas Band. Following them, the Önder Focan Quartet feat. Meltem Ege, the Elif Çağlar Quartet, and Burhan Öçal’s Trio Leyla & Alex Wilson project took the stage. The day will conclude with a performance by Jehan Barbur.

Children under the age of 12 can attend the festival for free. Additionally, special play areas have been created for children. The event, which also welcomes pets, offers an opportunity for those who want to escape city life and spend a day immersed in nature and music.

Throughout the festival, a wide range of food and beverage options, from street food to world cuisine, are available within LifePark, and alcoholic beverages are also served at various bar points.

It was reported that tickets for the event are on sale via lifeparkbilet.com, Biletix, and Passo.
