Famous comedian Cem Yılmaz's remarks about his colleague Kaan Sekban during a program he attended have become a hot topic. Yılmaz claimed that he wanted Sekban to open his show at the Harbiye Open-Air Theater, but that Sekban did not accept this, and that there might be some resentment between them because of it.

However, following these claims, Kaan Sekban expressed in a post on his social media account that the incident was very different from what Cem Yılmaz described. Sekban stated, "Hahaha, something like that didn't happen; I guess Mr. Cem misunderstood. I didn't say anything like 'come be my opening comedian.' In fact, I have an interview from the same period that says otherwise."

Sekban explained the truth of the dialogue between them with these words: "At that time, our relationship was very good, and he had honored me by coming to my show. I invited him to my first Harbiye show and asked, 'Should we do a funny scene at the beginning?' I said, 'What if I pretend to heckle you, and you suddenly appear, and we pretend to banter with each other to give the audience a pleasant surprise?' Afterwards, thanks to his incredible humility, we had an unforgettable opening with dear Kenan Doğulu."

Furthermore, Kaan Sekban also showed his reaction to the program's host, Melis İşiten, criticizing her by saying, "Also, I express my regrets to Melis İşiten for her mocking attitude. Show business is a crappy world, my friends; cherish your normal lives."

Sekban made another statement regarding the incident, saying, "I cannot pass without saying this; I hope that everyone, whether they are a singer, actor, or comedian, who sees themselves as superior to me and 'upstart' comedians like me, will one day have the courage to raise even 1 percent of the voice that I and many other upstart names like me raise against social problems, injustices, lawlessness, and unfairness."

This dialogue, which began on social media between the two famous comedians, also received intense interest from their followers. It is now being awaited with curiosity how the debate will conclude in the coming days.
