As preparations for the 5th season of Kızılcık Şerbeti, which airs on Show TV, continue, a notable change regarding the new season's cast has come to the fore. It has been learned that the "Devrim Hala" character, expected to be played by Laçin Ceylan in the Gold Film production, has been removed from the script.

The Devrim character, who was planned to be included in the story as the aunt of Evrim Alasya, who plays the character of Kıvılcım in the series, was expected to bring a different direction to the family dynamics in the new season. However, with a story update made before filming, it was stated that the character would not be included in the new season's plans.

According to journalist Birsen Altuntaş, the revision made by the script team to the general flow of the story ended Laçin Ceylan's role before it even began. Thus, the veteran actress's participation in the series was canceled before filming started.

The situation of Murat Aygen, another name announced to join the series in the new season, has not changed. It is stated that the "Lider" character, who will be played by Aygen, retains his place in the story.
