In his post, Şahinler stated, "My teacher. Ahmet, my teacher! A great actor, Ahmet Levendoğlu, who had a profound impact on me, who gave an actor a great weapon like self-confidence on stage, and who was a living monument to the word “principle.” Rest in peace. Actors' Union President Zuhal Olcay expressed her feelings with the words, "Rest in peace, my dear teacher Ahmet Levendoğlu."

Pianist Gülsin Onay also shared a message following the loss: "We have lost Ahmet Levendoğlu. May he rest in peace. May God have mercy on him. My close friend, the father of my dear Eren... A great master of our theater world, a teacher of teachers. May he rest in peace. I wish patience and condolences to his family, his loved ones, and our art world."

A ceremony will be held for Ahmet Levendoğlu on Tuesday, April 8, at 11:00 AM at the Atatürk Cultural Center Theater Hall. Afterward, the master artist will be laid to rest at Zincirlikuyu Cemetery.

WHO IS AHMET LEVENDOĞLU?

Born in 1945, Ahmet Levendoğlu completed his education at Robert College and later graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in England. Levendoğlu, who took his first steps into his artistic life in England, appeared on stage for the first time at the Gen-Ar Theater upon his return to Turkey. Maintaining his bond with the theater for years, the artist did not appear on screen very often.

By establishing an institution he named Tiyatro Stüdyosu (Theater Studio), he both staged plays and provided training to young actors.

Levendoğlu, who took part in series such as Binbir Gece, Küçük Kadınlar, and Son, last appeared before the audience in the series Kara Ekmek in 2015.
