Since their inception, visual effects (VFX) have been like a magic show for cinema, a feast that deceives both the eyes and the mind.
Since then, visual effects have continued to be an indispensable element of storytelling, and the point they have reached over the years has reached unimaginable dimensions.
Efekt Visual Effects Days brings together masters who have worked on significant projects in the VFX world in France and Turkey, leading studios, professional organizations, and educational institutions.
MEETING WITH GUESTS
Over the course of 3 days, Efekt will bring guests together for sessions on project production stages, sectoral analysis of VFX, the use of artificial intelligence in this field, women in VFX, and pioneering VFX films in Turkey and France.
Institut français Türkiye audiovisual cooperation attaché Florent Signifredy stated, "This event is a unique opportunity to discover what happens behind the curtain and how a film is made. VFX is now an important factor in filmmaking, and I hope this event can inspire the VFX artists of tomorrow."
BAU Cartoon and Animation Department Head and Istanbul Cinema Museum Academic Advisor Dr. Nazlı Eda Noyan said, "There is no limit to the joy that the art of animation and VFX provides. Although it may look like magic, VFX is actually a combination of creativity, technology, curiosity, and a love for storytelling, as well as great effort and teamwork. Come and celebrate this magic with us."
