Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga star in the sequel to the story of the Joker character, adapted from the DC Comics universe to the big screen, which has been brought to life as part of the DC Elseworlds project; new images have been shared from the film.
In the sequel Folie à Deux, which focuses on the life of Arthur Fleck as he gradually drifts away from his own identity and assumes the Joker persona, Joker is portrayed by Joaquin Phoenix.
The role of Harley Quinn, who exhibits characteristics similar to the Joker, is played by Lady Gaga.
The screenplay for the film was written by Todd Phillips and Scott Silver.
