The grand awards ceremony of the 32nd International Altın Koza Film Festival took place at the Çukurova University Congress Center with the participation of approximately 2 thousand guests. The awards ceremony began with famous artists walking the red carpet and arriving at the hall where the ceremony was to be held. The ceremony was attended by city protocol, artists, and numerous spectators.
During the night, hosted by Oylum Talu and Yekta Kopan, Menderes Samancılar, Chairman of the Adana Altın Koza Film Festival Executive Committee, delivered the opening speech. Samancılar said, "Our film festival, which we organized for the 32nd time this year, continued on its path with the beauty we desired. These days will also pass, and we will walk together again toward bright tomorrows and beautiful days."
"WE LOOKED AT THE SAME SCREEN TOGETHER"
Adana Deputy Mayor Güngör Geçer stated, "In the last week we left behind, Adana became the center of cinema. Tens of thousands of our people met with films; we looked at the same screen together. We kept the face of cinema alive not only in movie theaters but also in neighborhoods. This year, we met at our festival with the theme of 'Peace, freedom, and hope.' We could not ignore the humanitarian tragedy in Gaza or the forest fires. Grand awards are not just for a film, but a value given to those who shape cinema with their labor," he expressed.
Following the speeches, the ceremony continued with the presentation of the awards.
