It has emerged that the copy of Oppenheimer released on the digital film and series platform Prime Video is censored. The copy, which does not even include a Turkish language option, has drawn backlash for censoring scenes containing smoking and nudity.

Christopher Nolan's 7-time Oscar-winning film 'Oppenheimer' has been released on Amazon's digital film and series platform, Prime Video.
It has been learned that the censored copy of the film, which was released in India, was added to the platform.
In the copy, which features public service announcements in English and Hindi during scenes where characters smoke, the warning “Smoking Kills” was added to the bottom of the screen.
The version of the film released on Prime Video also did not escape notice for the censorship applied to the scene where Florence Pugh is nude, which had previously sparked controversy during its theatrical run in India.
