A memorial service was held at the Harbiye Muhsin Ertuğrul Stage for actor Serhat Kılıç, who passed away at his home in Kağıthane. Emotional moments were experienced at the ceremony, which was attended by Kılıç's family, relatives, friends, and fellow artists.

Actress Özge Özder, who attended the ceremony, could not hold back her tears by her friend's coffin. It was observed that Özder also experienced great sorrow when she encountered Kılıç's father.

As Özder left the venue following the memorial service, she was met with a request from an individual who wanted to take a photo. The actress reacted to this request made at the funeral exit, saying, "What are you doing? Have some respect."

While Özder's words quickly became a topic of discussion, it is known that the actress has previously reacted to being photographed during moments of mourning. Özder had previously recounted that her photo was taken while she was crying in a hospital corridor when she lost her grandfather.

Expressing the hurt she felt at that time, Özder had stated, "When I lost my grandfather, who raised me, at the hospital, they took my photo while I was collapsed and crying in the corridor; I was very hurt. One needs to think about the other side as well."
