Production company of Kızıl Goncalar awaits RTÜK decision

Gold Film has responded to the criticisms regarding the series "Kızıl Goncalar" and the statements made by RTÜK President Ebubekir Şahin regarding the initiation of an investigation.
The statement included the following remarks:
"We have full faith that our RTÜK President Mr. Ebubekir Şahin and our esteemed members will make the right decision on behalf of the Turkish nation. We respect every decision that RTÜK will make. As a production company, we have acted within the framework of legal rules from the very beginning. We will continue our projects, which hold an important place in the history of Turkish television and reach wide audiences."
This statement came after the series was placed under investigation by RTÜK and following the announcement made by RTÜK President Ebubekir Şahin on his personal account. The series had been targeted by pro-government media and certain religious communities, and the permits for the locations where filming was taking place had been revoked.
