Grammy-winning British singer Adele wrote in a statement on her social media account that, 'on doctor's orders,' she needs to get plenty of rest, and that she is postponing the concerts she was set to perform over the final five weekends at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace to a later date.
The artist had previously hinted that she would be taking a break from her concert on February 24 and had stated that she was experiencing an issue with her vocal cords.
'MY CHEST IS BURNING'
In her social media post, the singer said, "I haven't been sleeping very well and my chest is burning. I will be resting my voice immediately after this show," adding to her audience, "I love you, I will miss you like crazy and I am sorry for the inconvenience."
Adele, who faced the danger of losing her voice in 2017, was forced to cancel her concerts at that time and rested her voice for a long period.
The singer, who did not even speak with her son and partner, communicated using sign language during that period.
