Master actor Şener Şen has bid farewell to the theater stage, to which he returned after 40 years, with the play "Zengin Mutfağı" (Rich Cuisine). Şen offered hope for new projects by saying, "It's time for a long vacation."

The play "Zengin Mutfağı," starring Şener Şen and produced by DasDas, met with the audience for the last time at the Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open-Air Theater. Adapted from the work of Vasıf Öngören, this production achieved great success by playing to sold-out crowds more than 400 times over 8 years.
Şener Şen was accompanied in the cast by Gizem Ergün, Onay Kaya, Uğur Arda Başkan, and Kutay Sandıkçı. The director's chair was shared by Şener Şen and Doğu Yaşar Akal. This production, which left its mark on the Turkish theater scene, drew attention with both its content and its cast.
ŞENER ŞEN'S FUTURE PLANS
In a post on his Instagram account, Şener Şen stated, "Our play 'Zengin Mutfağı' has come to an end after approximately 7 years. I would like to thank everyone who contributed, especially our audience. My young friends Onay Kaya, Gizem Ergün, Kutay Sandıkçı, and U. Arda Başkan made great contributions to the success of the play. We accumulated many beautiful memories together. Now it is time for a long vacation... Hoping to meet in new projects..."
At the final performance of the play, Şener Şen was asked whether he was leaving the stage for good and if he had any new projects. Şen gave a short and clear answer to this question, saying, "No, it's over."
