A theater play on the concepts of fear and desire: Parrhesia 2

“Parrhesia 2”, which was first staged in 2019 and brings concepts such as truth-telling, fear, desire, and privacy to the language of theater through physical narrative and imagery, will be performed at Kadıköy Boa Sahne in Istanbul on February 7.

Adapted for the stage from Foucault's book 'Parrhesia: The Courage of Truth' and first performed during the 2019 season, “Parrhesia 2” is being brought to the stage once again in a new version through a collaboration between Echoes Sahne and Tiyatro Kast.

Tickets for the play, which examines the era we live in and the concept of truth using text, light, and bodies in an empty space, are now on sale.

WILL MEET THE AUDIENCE IN KADIKÖY

Following extensive research and workshops on fear, need, desire, privacy, violence, and innocence, the play, which brings these concepts to the theater stage through physical narrative and imagery, will meet the audience at Kadıköy Boa Sahne on February 7.

Directed by Salih Usta, the cast of the play includes Çağıl Kaya, Can Güvenç, Deniz Ekinci, Gülnara Golovina, Melike Kutluer, Münibe Millet, and Salih Usta.
