Tom Holland, who rose to prominence as Peter Parker in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, could reach one of the highest earnings of his career with the new Spider-Man film. It has been reported that the British actor's total compensation for Spider-Man: Brand New Day is expected to exceed $100 million.

According to the report, the 30-year-old Holland initially signed a $20 million deal to reprise his role as Peter Parker. However, industry sources speaking to The Wrap stated that performance-based bonuses and box office participation clauses will significantly increase the actor's income.

It is stated that there is no cap in the contract, which opens the door for Holland's earnings to rise even further alongside the film's commercial success. Thus, it is projected that the actor's total income could reach at least the $100 million level.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, Spider-Man: Brand New Day grossed $360 million 91 thousand 572 in its opening weekend. It was reported that the production set the record for the highest opening of all time in the US.

Holland's new deal in the Spider-Man series has also brought the level reached by income models based on the box office success of star actors in big-budget superhero films in Hollywood back to the agenda.
