Premiere of the film 'Hayatla Barış' held

The gala screening of the film 'Hayatla Barış', which recounts the life story of Barış Telli—who lost his right leg after an accident in 1993 and went on to become a player for the Amputee Football National Team and a European champion—has taken place.

'WE ARE EXPERIENCING EXCITEMENT'

Speaking at the gala, Telli said, "When we set out on this path, our producer Hünkar Doğan gave me that belief when he said, 'Your life should now be a movie, it should be transferred to the silver screen, and everyone needs to watch this.' Now, we are actually experiencing this excitement all together. My dear brother Taner, who plays me, I have truly followed him for years, and while watching him, I found his personality, structure, and character similar to my own."

'WE WORKED VERY HARD'

Actor Taner Ölmez, who portrays Barış Telli in the film, stated that he was very excited, saying, "Being here today was truly a dream for us. We started the desk work for the film a long time ago. We wove it stitch by stitch, we really worked very hard, we sweated a lot. That's why being here today is truly a dream for me. I am very happy and incredibly excited. When I watched the film, I felt proud of my colleagues I worked with, my director, and my producer. I hope it deserves this value and that you like it too," he said.

The cast of the film 'Hayatla Barış' includes Taner Ölmez and Bülent İnal, as well as names such as Nazan Kesal, Gürkan Uygun, Biran Damla Yılmaz, Sinan Tuzcu, Erkan Üçüncü, Arben Akış, Alara Turan, Mekin Sezer, Gurur Çiçekoğlu, and Devrim Kabacaoğlu.

The film, with a screenplay written by Caner Erzincan and Koray Yeltekin, will be released in theaters on February 23.
