Young pianist Alaz İkiz becomes the first Turk to win an award at a prestigious European piano competition

Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Istanbul State Conservatory student Alaz İkiz has won the "Encouragement Award" at the 19th Ettlingen International Piano Competition, held in Germany and considered one of the most prestigious competitions in Europe.
He succeeded in becoming the first Turkish artist to receive an award in the competition, which has been held since 1988.
