Worth 900 thousand dollars: Picasso and Chagall paintings found

Works by Spanish painter Pablo Picasso, a key figure in the Cubist movement, and painter Marc Chagall, which were stolen 14 years ago, have been found.

Paintings titled "Tete" by Spanish painter Pablo Picasso and "L'homme en prière" by Marc Chagall have been found after years.

The paintings by Chagall, one of the most original painters of the 20th century, and Picasso, a pioneer of the Cubist movement, were seized in an operation carried out in the Belgian city of Antwerp.

WORTH 900 THOUSAND DOLLARS

It was reported that the works, which were stolen from the archive of an art collector living in Tel Aviv in 2010, are worth 900 thousand dollars.

The thief was put under surveillance after the person trying to sell the paintings was reported to the police.

The paintings were found undamaged in the basement of a building.
