Zeynep Bastık: 'These miracles gave me motivation'

Singer Zeynep Bastık's new song 'Lan', released on March 8, has reached the top of the Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music charts.

'Lan' also achieved the success of being the first entirely Turkish song to enter the Spotify Global Top 50 list, where world stars compete.

Zeynep Bastık expressed her happiness with the following words:

"I still cannot believe if what we experienced was a dream. We have been on the list of the world's most-listened-to songs for 1 week. We climbed to 21st place with a Turkish song and approached 3 million daily streams on Spotify. Different records were broken on all platforms. This series of miracles gave me incredible motivation that we can shake up world charts in our own language. But everything happened because you loved 'Lan' so much."
