1 ton of cannabis seized in Diyarbakır
1 ton and 23 kilograms of cannabis were seized during an operation conducted in the rural areas of Diyarbakır's Lice, Hani, and Hazro districts.

According to the information received, an operation was carried out by the Diyarbakır Provincial Gendarmerie Command in the rural areas of Lice, Hani, and Hazro with the aim of revealing the link between the terrorist organization and those involved in illegal drug production and trafficking with concrete evidence, and to find the drugs hidden in the operation area and those concealing them to bring them to justice.
825 kilograms of powdered cannabis and 198 kilograms of herbal cannabis were seized at 5 separate locations.
The drugs were taken into custody by the teams.
