10 people detained regarding the explosion in Balıkesir

10 people have been detained in connection with the ammunition factory explosion in Balıkesir that resulted in the loss of 11 lives.

Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç announced that 10 people have been detained as part of the investigation into the explosion at the ammunition factory in the Karesi district of Balıkesir.

WHAT HAD HAPPENED?

An explosion occurred yesterday morning at the ammunition factory named ZSR A.Ş. located in the Karesi district of Balıkesir, and 11 people lost their lives in the incident. While the treatment of 7 workers injured in the explosion continues, the investigation into the incident is also ongoing.
