100 irregular migrants caught off the coast of İzmir
A total of 100 irregular migrants were caught off the coasts of the Çeşme, Urla, and Karaburun districts of İzmir. One suspected human smuggler was taken into custody.

In an operation carried out off the coasts of Çeşme and Urla in İzmir yesterday morning, Coast Guard Command teams identified a group of irregular migrants in rubber boats. Taking action, the teams caught 58 irregular migrants, including 11 children, who were in 2 rubber boats.
In the operations carried out; a group of irregular migrants was identified by the Coast Guard Mobile Radar off the coast of the Çeşme district. The teams dispatched to the region rescued 15 irregular migrants, including 6 children, and one suspected human smuggler was taken into custody.
Off the coast of the Karaburun district, 27 irregular migrants, including 6 children, were rescued.
The irregular migrants brought to the shore were sent to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management after their processing.
