100 separate criminal complaints against Melih Gökçek, zero investigations!
While the AKP government puts CHP-run municipalities under pressure through the judiciary, the files of Melih Gökçek, who has not even been called to testify despite 100 investigation files being prepared against him, have been ignored.

The government continues its operations against CHP-run municipalities through the judiciary. Investigations, however, bypass AKP-run municipalities.
Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş had reminded that they had submitted 100 investigation files regarding the era of AKP's Melih Gökçek to the prosecutor's office, but Gökçek had not even been called to testify.
Yavaş, who took office after the local elections on March 31, 2019, first instructed the Inspection Board to conduct a detailed examination of the expenditures, tenders, and transactions made during the Melih Gökçek era. As a result of these examinations, approximately 100 separate criminal complaints were filed against numerous individuals, including former mayor Gökçek, on various charges such as "misconduct in office, negligence of duty, rigging of tenders, and causing public loss." However, no judicial proceedings have been initiated regarding these files to date.
LOSSES OF THE GÖKÇEK ERA
Among the files that the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality carried to the prosecutor's office was Ankapark, which is well-known to the public. In addition to the Ankapark project, which was built with an expenditure of approximately 801 million dollars but fell into disuse, many other issues where municipal resources were used irregularly were also referred to the judiciary. Among these, irregularities in helicopter rentals, the privatization process of Belbeton, the transfer of excavation revenues to Osmanlıspor, and losses in ornamental plant purchases stand out. Some prominent examples are as follows:
Cable Car Project: It was determined that an irregular work increase was provided to the company undertaking the cable car line and an unearned time extension was granted. It was alleged that a total of 43 million TL in unfair payments were made in this way.
BELYA Privatization: It was alleged that BELYA, an ABB subsidiary privatized for 9 million TL in 2012, was actually worth 26.7 million TL, and that financial support was provided to the company from municipal resources after the privatization.
Yenikent Stadium: It was stated that 2 million TL was spent from the municipal budget in just one year for the Yenikent Stadium, which was allocated to Osmanlıspor free of charge for 25 years.
Anket A.Ş. and Moldovan National Personnel: Information was reflected in the files that Ana A., a Moldovan national hired as a 'manual therapist' within the municipal subsidiary Anket A.Ş., was assigned to the mayor's residence and employed with a salary of 3,800 TL at that time.
Allocation of Immovables: It was stated that some immovable properties belonging to the municipality were deliberately transferred to FETÖ members unlawfully through council decisions and zoning regulations.
Tatlar Treatment Plant: It was alleged that although 536 million TL in borrowing authority was obtained from the ABB Council for the renovation of the Tatlar Treatment Plants, this money was spent in other areas.
