104 people had lost their lives in Istanbul and Ankara: New development in the counterfeit alcohol investigation

As the number of people who lost their lives due to counterfeit alcohol in Ankara and Istanbul rose to 104, 34 suspects were arrested within the scope of the ongoing investigations. Judicial control measures were imposed on 44 suspects.

Within the scope of the counterfeit alcohol investigations conducted in Ankara and Istanbul, 34 suspects were arrested, while judicial control measures were imposed on 44 suspects.

According to the information received, following the recent deaths of 33 people in Ankara and 71 people in Istanbul due to counterfeit alcohol, investigations were launched by the Ankara and Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices.

In the investigations conducted within this scope, a total of 34 suspects were arrested, with 17 people each in Ankara and Istanbul, while judicial control measures were imposed on a total of 44 suspects, including 34 in Ankara and 10 in Istanbul.

Furthermore, while the intensive care treatment of 20 people in Ankara and 49 people in Istanbul due to counterfeit alcohol continues, the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office is continuing its efforts to identify suspects across 85 investigation files.
